Induction technology

Materia’s induction technology is perfectly integrated into the glass-ceramic surface, which is why it does not require the use of any extraneous elements. The cooking zones are delimited by six red LED strips, which light up only when the hob is on and remain lit until the glass-ceramic surface isn’t warm. Once the pan has been positioned in the cooking area you wish to use, the system detects the pan and activates automatically the slider control of the interested area, allowing simple and intuitive management of the controls.

Available functions

The five cooking zones have a 3.7 kW automatic bridge function, slider control, Booster function and Double Booster. Cooking timer, Stand alone timer, and Count-up timer. Pause & Recall, Warming Function and automatic pot detection. It is also extremely safe thanks to the automatic safety switch-off, the Child safety lock and the residual heat indicator. The Warming function is used to maintain a constant temperature during food cooking, the Half cooking levels function allows you to activate intermediate levels of power and finally the Cookware move function allows you to maintain the same power levels for each pot when it is moved to another cooking zone.__
